Queenstown has an international airport with direct flights from Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. Alternatively, flying time from Auckland is 1hour 50 minutes.

Look out for Grabaseat deals or cheap flights on Jetstar from $99 one way.

hire a car

There are a number of car rentals companies located at Queenstown Airport if you would like the freedom to explore the majestic lakes district.

The Hilton & Kawarau Hotel, have kindly offered a reduced room rate for our guests. The hotels are located right beside each other and are only a 10 minute drive from the wedding venue. Also, the hotels are only a 5 minute drive from Queenstown Airport, 13 minutes drive from downtown Queenstown or 15 minutes via water taxi, from central Queenstown.

We encourage you to book your accommodation earlier rather than later, given the wedding is over Easter Weekend and there are limited rooms available at the reduced rate on a first come, first served basis. Click here to book a room at the Hilton or here for a room at the Kawarau.

The wedding venue is 10 minutes drive from The Hilton & Kawarau Hotels.

If you wish to drive to the venue from Queenstown, take State Highway 6A south, continue onto State Highway 6, turn right onto Maori Jack Road to Jack's Point. Follow the road until you reach McAdam Drive, turn right to Jack's Point Clubhouse which is sign posted along the way. There is plenty of parking available at the venue.

Backdropped by the Remarkables Mountain range located in Queenstown, Jack's Point is a unique settlement near Lake Wakitipu.

what to wear

As this is a formal function, please dress to impress!

Queenstown has its own micro climate and rainfall in April is rare. Warm balmy days are often experienced with temperatures ranging from 10 - 22°C. Due to its mountain location the evenings are often cold. Please note that our ceremony will be taking place outdoors and it is advised to bring a warm coat.

As much as we would like to invite all the children of our friends, it is only possible to accommodate the children of close family.

So this is a good chance for parents to let their hair down and have an evening to enjoy yourselves!
